Introduction

the forth day of the Journey was spent entirely
in the city of Lviv. it was a bright Saturday. the "Sabbath" in Hebrew.
so the easy walk through the streets of this beautiful city
was as pleasant as possible.
some of the participants even had the chance
to visit an old historic flat...
it was in the evening though
that the weather has changed dramatically
which led to some changes in the plans for the participants.
for most of them anyway...

morning tour

the first Ukrainian breakfast was followed by a bus drive
to some of the sight-seeings in the city of Lviv.

the sculptures

the sculptured lions are for many years regarded
as the symbols of Lviv.

the books

at the local book fair even a book in Hebrew
was to be found...and bought.

the buildings

in the old city of Lviv several local churches
as well as other ancient buildings
are worth the visit.

the flat

some of the participants had the chance
to visit an old historic flat...

city centre

in the city centre of Lviv
the opera house is a must... .

the synagogue

the group visited the local synagogue
which is quite famous
for the paintings on the walls.

the hotel

in the evening heavy rain has arrived
all plans out and about were canceled
instead an indoor evening of story-telling began.
and then there was a great indoor Saturday night out...
