Introduction

The second day of the Journey
started in Warsaw.
then went on to Kazimir Dolny.
in the afternoon the participants visited
the Maidanek camp.
later on the buses arrived at the hotel
which is located right in the centre
of the city of Lublin.

first breakfast

The first breakfast of the Journey
was even better than expected
then everybody checked out and got on the buses.

morning tour

The group walked through the streets
of the centre of Warsaw
watching several stones out there
which are connected to the history
of the Jews in the capital.

the monument

during the visit at the Rappaport monument
the Israeli anthem "Hatikva" could be heard.

the picturesque town

The driving out of Warsaw
had to be interrupted naturally...
the group was quick to arrive at Kazimir Dolny though...

the show

the Polish youth were also on holiday
and they were busking around in town.
allowing two guest stars from abroad to try their luck...

the river

The organiser asked by the river everybody to go fast.
the four pretty Potash girls though stayed back...

the camp

The horror of the Maidanek camp
no photos can truly describe.
it was here in the afternoon
that the participants experienced
the first ceremony of its kind.

the hotel

at the stylish Europa hotel in the centre of Lublin
the group had the chance
to experience the longest-awaited supper
of the entire Journey... .
then everybody went out at night
until the heavy rain arrived...
